娘吉加是中國青海藏族人，牧民的孩子。18歲時，他意識到藏區的教育、社區發展相對落後，資訊封閉，於是開始善用國內外慈善資源，發起數十項針對教育、環境、少數民族文化­保育等的非盈利可持續發展項目。
Robert NANGCHUKJA is a Tibetan native of Guinan and son of herdsmen. At age 18, he saw the backwardness and lack of educational opportunities in his hometown and began soliciting resources to launch non-profit development projects for his community, impacting on education and environmental conservation.
